1 Vine Street, London

Completed in January 2009, this project required Mecserve to assist with the redesign and implementation of a mixed-use site.

With a listed façade (requiring retention) and a mix of retail outlets and residential apartments, Vine Street consisted of 53,800 ft² (nett) office-space over five floors.

The redesigned services included a rain water harvesting system, energy efficient DC motors on the Fan Coil Units, lighting control system, heat recovery on both the chiller and ventilation, and a photovoltaic array incorporated as part of the roof plant screen.

  • The offices received a BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rating 2006.
  • At the Office Development Awards organised by Property Week, ‘One Vine Street’ won West End Development of the Year and Best of the Best
