40 Holborn Viaduct, City of London

Within the City of London, this prime office space development comprised approximately 220,000 ft² of net office space arranged over ten floors.

Mecserve was appointed to produce a fully detailed, coordinated tender for the building services to enable a competitive tender to be sought.

The works included underground car parking facilities with full air-conditioned space to the offices. All services were controlled via a central plant BEMS network.

Mecserve was novated by the client to the main contractor to complete any remaining design work and monitor the services installation to practical completion. Additionally, Mecserve retained a duty of care to the client and maintained a QA role in terms of the building services installation.
