Mecserve was appointed to assist with the air conditioning and lighting for Beaufort House - a new office development in Uxbridge.
With approximately 44,000 ft² arranged over five floors with covered car parking facilities, the building was air conditioned with a four-pipe fan-coil system.
The main plant was located at basement and roof level. The central plant services were distributed to serve the fan-coil units mounted in the false ceiling voids.
The lighting design (to office areas) was by fully recessed modular luminaires with fluorescent lamps and low brightness louvres complying with CIBSE Lighting Guide 3, Category 2.
The control of luminaires within office areas was by a modular lighting connection system.
