Sam’s career began in mechanical building services design & specification and he has taken that valuable experience into Mecserve's Facilities Management department. He spent time as a building manager overseeing operational engineering and now is a client-side Associate Facilities Management Engineer.
Since he joined Mecserve in 2010, Sam's role in the department has included maintenance management and liaising with key Mecserve clients and their property portfolios, auditing of contractor service provision, site log books and statutory compliance. During ‘licence to alter’ for tenant fit-out works, Sam makes regular site visits to ensure compliance with the licence. Sam will also chair maintenance meetings and undertake a mixture of condition or energy efficiency surveys. As the client’s representative, he will regularly liaise with the maintenance contractor and the client aiming for best value for the property portfolio and operational efficiency.
