Panos is a qualified Domestic Energy Assessor and Low Carbon Energy Assessor, accredited by CIBSE to carry out energy assessments of non-domestic buildings. He comes from an engineering background and holds an MSc in Environmental Design & Engineering with distinction from UCL.
His work mainly focuses on the development of energy-efficient and cost-effective strategies that deliver low-carbon buildings designed to offer occupants a healthy indoor environment. Previous work experience with architectural teams has helped him develop a better understanding on how sustainability can be integrated with architecture without compromising design. He has previously been involved in the sustainable design of new developments and retrofit of existing buildings. His work experience to date includes energy assessments (SAP, SBEM, DSM) from planning to post-completion stage, drafting of energy and sustainability statements to support planning applications as well as advanced thermal modelling, overheating and microclimate analyses.
