James joined Mecserve in 2007 having spent his initial years in the industry employed by a company of mechanical and electrical contractors. He previously worked both in the office and out on-site as a part of the installation team but when he joined Mecserve, James progressed to consultancy design.
Since he arrived, James has been responsible for a number of varied projects, most notably taking the lead role on the electrical services design and monitoring of site installation for The Lancasters (Lancaster Gate) redevelopment.
James now works within the facilities management division and has taken a leading role in the development of technical standards and specifications for wider practice use.
James has experience in a wide variety of sectors including catering and restaurants, special educational needs and autistic spectrum disorder schools, category A & B office refurbishments and new builds, historic building refurbishments, industrial warehouses and residential schemes for both private clients, property management firms and local authorities.
In 2010, James was awarded Licentiate membership of CIBSE and was registered by the Engineering Council.
